The workshop aims at gathering researchers active in the development of additive manufacturing, especially using metallic materials.

A particular focus of the workshop is to enhance contact and exchange of ideas between the researchers and especially young researchers.

The workshop covers all aspects of additive manufacturing:

• Component redesign for additive manufacturing for instance using topology optimization,
• Simulation techniques applied to additive manufaturing processes,
• Development of materials and powder metallurgy,
• Process parameter optimization,
• Connection between microtructures and usage physical properties,
• Showcases and industrial case studies...
